The second exhibition of the Within the Body series, curate by Sofia Moreno, “Homenaje A Mi Dios, A Love Story from Diva to Mundane”, continues Within the Body’s mission to present new art, new ideas and reveal the art of tomorrow. This exhibition taps into the different perspectives, shared beliefs, and experiences of a new generation of artists that are shaping contemporary art discourse while describing the religion of a non-spiritual culture. These artists draw from a myriad of influences across historical, spiritual, and geographic boundaries. By bringing together a diverse group of artists and their varied approaches, “Homenaje A Mi Dios, A Love Story from Diva to Mundane,” identifies the signs of an imminent change and captures emerging stylistic shifts. The exhibition will provide the viewer with a first look into how the next generation of artists expresses the god within us.

The exhibition will include over 60 works of art displayed at the Artists of East Bank Building (4th floor exhibition space). The exhibition will feature painting, drawing, photography, performance, installation, music and dance. It is a benefit show to raise funds for “ANTIBODY DANCE “, a company specializing in movement studies and occult research. Work undertaken is guided by the MISSION. Research findings are presented in a variety of media, including performance, video, and text.”

Major support for this exhibition has been provided by Artists of the East Bank.
